Shared Services Solutions are working with the Cabinet Office and The Department of Education and Skills (DfES) to deliver a robust and compelling Education & Skills Sector Shared Services Plan. DfES is one of the largest Government Departments and incorporates Schools, Further Education, Higher Education and Children’s Services accounting for in excess of £63bn of UK Government Expenditure in England.
We have supported the DfES Core Shared Services Team in developing their thinking on opportunities as part of an overall Shared Services strategy, producing a high level plan; detailing an approach; identifying potential benefits, along with the development of an implementation route map.
We are now working with the DfES Core Team to define the next level of detail required to implement Shared Services and to realise the significant benefits that have been identified.
